Mawshell

One of three characters in a personal sci-fi/fantasy concept series exploring sea corruption.

What was once human was corrupted into Mawshell, a tanky brute that seizes its prey with a claw lined with human teeth, or defends itself with its sturdy armor and shield.

This project was great at helping me practice sci-fi shape language again and designing some characters different than the type I usually like to draw
